In resident evil 5 co-op do they lose there Gear they have now if i keep on going with out them?

Say they come back later on in the Game does he still have the gear and money they had the last time he played or no he starts all over? P.S. this is for offline play thanks



If they're logged in with a gamertag it should save all the treasure, inventory, and money.
