A holy priest or restoration shaman
The versatility of the holy priest takes it. Shields, hots, party healing, and direct healing they bring a great number of options to the raid.
A resto shaman does quite well raid healing and a decent job tank healing, also brings a number of totems and a heroism.
Priests are the better healer, however shaman are easier to level. Shaman are good healers, but not the best. The classe that are terrific healers are priest (instant heals), Druid (heal over time) and Pally (Heal instantly, although not as good as priest, but can defend self if attacked)
Priest. I have a 80 fully geared Hunter and it seems I get the most healing in raids and all with the priest. Thay have the most benefits to the healing spec than most other. But overall i would really say that a Druid makes the best healer.
