In Grand Theft Auto 4 why do the rockets glide across the ground?

Every time i shoot at an angle the rocket glides across the ground,why does it do that....was it because of an UPDATE or something else?



Well RPGs in real life dont explode on impact on close distants shot some times due to the tip not being hit hard enough to trigger the explosion, so they bounce off.





Its always like that on GTA4, not a bug/glitch. Its fun tho seeing a RPG flying in circles.
