Im getting a PS3 along with my 360 but what are some good starter games?

Now im not getting rid of the 360 because of LIVE its just so much easier to communicate with people through live although PSN is free but you just dont get the same feel as live but im looking into just gettin single player games for PS3 not a fan of PSN obviously but every top ten list mostly just had MGS4 or uncharted 2 as the best and the rest arent even exclusives (or if some are they suck) Im not a fan of games like MGS4. so what other games are there im looking into getting SKATE 3
